The vast majority of people who watched the first Diaz vs Porter fight had Diaz winning clearly but he was unfortunate enough to only be awarded a Draw once the official scorecards had been calculated for their 10 round contest. One judge had it for Diaz, the other for Porter and the other a Draw.

Brook, by imitating parts of the Diaz game plan, is also seen by some to be the clear winner when he fought Porter. He escaped with an official majority Win but, just like with Diaz vs Porter, one judge scored it as a Draw. However, many complained that Brook's holding and spoiling tactics were disappointingly excessive.

Who do you think beat Porter more impressively though - Diaz for being the first to beat him, or Brook for imitating the Diaz game plan but also throwing in excessive holding?

Porter was young and less experienced when he fought Diaz, I think he's an improved fighter since then. That's the benefit of taking tough fights early on.
