IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook (34-0, 25KOs) did a series of interviews regarding his upcoming fight with Diego Chaves, set for October 24th in Sheffield.

During those interviews, the subject of facing his domestic rival, Amir Khan (31-3, 19KOs), came up several times.

Brook would like to get that fight in wake of Khan's recent inability to get a fight with WBC/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr., who is now set to retire following his September 12th defense against Andre Berto.

Brook already ducked Khan to fight Rank-E Gavin, and he ducked Alexander twice, now Rios. The guy is all talk, living off one half-decent win in his entire career against an overrated Porter.

It's strange how some boxing fans put him on this pedestal. What other fighter would get the same sort of adulation if they only had one decent win on their record?

What Brook needs to do is follow in Khan's footsteps and build up a record of fighting decent opponents on a consistent basis over a few years but it would seem he's just too scared to do that with all this ducking. His record and actions speak for themselves really.
