Pffft who knows who half these stiffs are that the HW top10 fights. Tyson Fury who is supposed to give Wlad his toughest fight ever just fought Christian Hammer (who?). And who can forget legendary Wach, Povetkins big match coming up..

If Shannon Briggs were a character from Goodfellas he'd be Shanny Wantsafreeshot.

Of all the things you can level at Shannon Briggs at this point in his career, being out of shape is not one of them. He won't have stamina issues. He may have old man issues (i.e. being too slow) but the guy is proven to be hard as nails (12 rounds of Vitali's hard punches).

then why didn't he fight Briggs? it's not like he gets any extra credit for Duhapuas.

Truth is Briggs can really punch, and that's a problem if you're Wilder (or Haymon protecting Wilder).

Wilder should take that fight. It's good money and better than the current bums he's facing. At least he will be facing a former heavyweight champ who's done a good job at hyping himself.

As sht as the Duhaupas fight is Briggs would be worse, people are running with Briggs because he was an American, mediocre fighter 20 years ago who suddenly grew a loud mouth to get a payday in his twilight.

The Duhaupas fight is awful, a Briggs fight would be worse

The question really should be why is he fighter either of them?

"So I was sitting fat on the couch and thought, 'damn, I'm broke, ain't got enough money for donuts. I'd better get a loan and get on the juice. And come up with a slogan for my latest comeback.'"

It's hard to say who is a bigger joke, Briggs or Wilder.

But is this the same Briggs who recently had to go the distance with Raphael Zumbano Love?

                      Why, yes it is!

The same Briggs who got easily beaten by Sultan Ibragimov for his belt?

                      Yep.

Briggs and Wilder both have something against cabbies and bartenders, so it's fitting they should face each other.
