    Heavyweight contender Manuel Charr was shot at diner in the German town of Essen, according to a report in German newspaper Bild. Photo by Klaus Fields.

    The details are a bit foggy, but it does not appear that he suffered any life threatening injuries. He spoke with emergency services, was put on a stretcher and taken in an ambulance to a local hospital. He underwent emergency surgery and seems to be out of danger, says the paper.                                   A facebook beef? Getting shot over that sounds kind of fishy. There is obviously more to it then that. Hope he makes a full recovery. Boytsov & now Charr? Boxing is a corrupt sport & full of criminals. Hanging around with the wrong crowd is a good way to make your career go
