Anthony Dirrell is one 168er that I'm fairly confident Golovkin would slaughter.

The criteria for judging is EFFECTIVE aggression. Just being aggressive and coming forward doesn't mean **** if you are getting outlanded which is what happened to McDonnell. So for you, aggression counts for nothing at all? OK, you have the right to your own opinion. I do not happen to share it. A non title fight is one thing, a title fight completely different. You have to BEAT the champion. You have to TAKE the title. And you cannot do that by backing up. IMHO as always.
Can't wait to see the punch stat numbers, I bet they will be significantly in Kameda's favor.Comment

Rubio fought Golovkin in his just prior fight; making mention of Golovkin helps sell Rubio's story for this bout.
Beyond that, Golovkin has no relevance in any PBC conversation (unless Virgil Hunter, after Ward apparently handles his business in November, starts to mention how Golovkin has been running chicken**** from Andre Ward).

This isn't a main event type fight. Guy coming off a loss against a journeyman ... oh well... at least it's free.
If PBC wants more fans/ratings,...they need to bring out some top prospects with firepower.Comment

Exactly. Aggression alone means literally nothing if it is not proving effective. I hate when people give fighters credit for being aggressive despite them getting outlanded. The criteria for judging is EFFECTIVE aggression. Just being aggressive and coming forward doesn't mean **** if you are getting outlanded which is what happened to McDonnell.
