    Chino Maidana News

Well, many are speaking **** about Chino lately. That he's fat, that he's retired etc.

He gained about 20 pounds, that's it. He got married, he invested his money and he needed to be close to the fields he bought, his investments, etc. He enjoyed his family, his babygirl, etc, for a few months. Totally deserved.

Since at least one month ago, he started to run daily to lose weight. His first objetive is to lose weight, and he's doing that. His cousin and personal assistant (Pileta Maidana) stated that he will come soon to the US to train hard for a comeback fight, and that he's losing the weight. He aims to fight Danny Garcia or Keith Thurman.

To those who say he'll need a catch weight, or that he's semi retired... you don't know Chino.

You can't blow up in weight, come down, and fight the best.

I'd rather see Maidana vs. Rios first.

      Meanwhile, Thurman vs. Khan.

      Then the winners fight.

maidana and rios have the same trainer. That fight isn't happening.

Can't wait. Probably should have a tune up before Garcia or Thurman. Both winnable, but not after a long layoff and weight gain.
