According to promoter Kalle Sauerland of Sauerland Event, WBA 'regular' light heavyweight champion Juergen Braehmer (46-2, 34KOs) is open stepping things up in his career with a unification fight against either WBC champion Adonis Stevenson or IBF/WBO/WBA super champion Sergey Kovalev.

Braehmer will defend his belt on Saturday night against Konni Konrad at the Energie Verbund-Arena in Dresden, Sachsen.

Braehmer is faster but not more technical than Kovalev. After typical german bum diet facing Kovalev will be shock for him. Nevertheless Braehmer is a good fighter and he will be a nice trophy in Kovalev's collection.

Sukhotsky gave Brähmer a war, so you could imagine what would happen if this guy faces Kovalev or Stevenson. Even Beterbiev,

Dear author: the Kovalev fight would be no unification, since Brähmer is only the mandatory who is happy defending his sorry ass secondary title against Boxrec 50-150 guys.

Lmao unification is a priority? Since today? Braehmer is about to retire or lose his title to some mandatory, they want one last payday. Whatever, much better than Karpency and the rest of the scrubs Stevenson has been facing and who knows, if Braehmer can evade that left hand he might win alot of rounds against Stevenson. Against Kovalev he would get badly outboxed, hurt and knocked out within 4 rounds.

It is not a unification fight with Kovalev. Because the regular title will be vacant after the fight. Vacant that is until the WBA can find some other sap that they can suck sanctioning fees out of with their worthless as well as ridiculous regular belt.

What a load of crap. Braehmer got a tummy ache and pulled out of a fight with Shumenov, ferchristsakes. No way Sauerland would risk their paycheck against Kovalev or Stephenson.

About time the other champion(s) became part of the Kovalev-Stevenson discussion.

                    Braehmer's meaningless belt in unification!!!

Why on earth would Kovalev or Stevenson be interested in picking up a totally bogus bauble? The alphabet boys must think fans are ****** with all these ridiculous belts. I see that even Nonito Donaire might be descending into fighting Quigg for one.
