Good for Cotto. It's business as usual for boxing's shining example. I hope that the up and comers, whether rican, mexican, black, or white take a page from Cotto's book. The man shows up to work, always entertains the fans by giving them their money's worth, and rides into the sunset with his pockets full...all without acting like a clown.

Props to canelo, who seems to be following in cotto's footsteps by behaving like a professional. May the best fighter win and may we, as fans, get to see fireworks from two current boxing superstars!

The Trinidad wraps thing, if I remember, I think his dad was putting layer of tape instead of gauze on the knuckles which wasn't allowed in ny but was in Nevada. Or something to that effect.. Everyone is entitled to their option as is Trinidad, but lot of people are looking at it like you guys are countrymen how come U have to pick against him? Some people say is jealousy in Trinidads part, which like around 2004 for the mayorga fight, Trinidad was getting accused of jealousy for cotto around that time.. I'm rooting for Cotto, but think Canelo may be too strong for him. Cotto does tend to tire after 6 or so rounds and becomes a little to easy to hit for my liking.

Trinidad wasn't getting hit by plaster though, so he wouldn't know. Also Trinidad was a physically big WW so he was able to take more punishment than the much smaller Cotto. 5'11" is not your average WW height.

Tito has been picking against Cotto almost his entire professional career. I don't think they have beef or anything, Tito just doesn't seem to like or care for Cotto. He definitely respects him, but that doesn't mean he has to like him.
