GGG has never had an offer to fight Ward.

It was hilarious how Andre went from "Stop bringing up my name" to "I want to fight Golovkin this fall" just days before GGG vs Lemieux was finalised.

Golovkin HAS received an offer to fight Ward.

Team Golovkin immediately demanded a catchweight of 164, then refused to concede on the weight..... thereby ****blocking any chance of a meaningful negotiation.

What you meant to say is ..... Golovkin did not receive a contract.

I think Cotto will vacate the belt if he beats Canelo, but it doesn't really matter, in the long run.

All that matters is that the WBC MW title will be back in the mix, for real, with no more bull**** catchweight title fights.

Without that belt to legitimise it, the lineal title won't mean ****.

I think that Team Golovkin will refuse to give him a catchweight.

The sooner Golovkin can unify at 160, the sooner we get Ward. Anyone who wants to see that fight should be hoping the Cotto/Alvarez winner either fights Golovkin or drops the belt so Golovkin can win it.

And any fan of Ward should be hoping for Golovkin to unify. The bigger Golovkin's reputation the bigger boost for Ward's career should he win.
