Comments Thread For: Gennady Golovkin Praises Canelo, Wants Unification

WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (33-0, 30KOs) is training for the highly anticipated unification with IBF middleweight king David Lemieux (34-2, 31KOs) on October 17th at New York's Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Golovkin says his goal is to unify the entire middleweight division. He looks forward to moving past Lemieux to a mandatory fight against the winner of the November 21 bout between WBC middleweight champion Miguel Cotto and challenger Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez.

You do realize that recently canelo has been outweighing ggg in the ring? The only difference between the two is that canelo kills himself in order to shrink to 155,while ggg has no problem fighting at the full 160.

I hope Cotto beats Canelo, drops the belt, and GGG gets no superfight.

                Who weighs in around 175.

I'm convinced you must be trolling.

It seems like every time an article about Golovkin comes up you are in full force to say something negative about him. It is like he did something very personal to you.

Canelo weighs the same on fight night as Golovkin.
