Maybe, but no more impressive than Pacquiao's 8 division claim-to-fame.
Neither should be taken too seriously.
So, for a Pacquiao/Mayweather comparison..... breaking down those champions/divisions into relevant names, and then evaluating their worth at the time they were beaten..... adds the necessary context to compare them both.
Not great reading for the pacfans, but that is how historians do it.
You have to compare apples with apples, so titles/divisions are completely irrelevant if we want to compare those guys with past greats.
We know that back in the day there were only 8 divisions and only 1 title.
So forget divisions and titles..... and especially forget lineage and P4P.
And also forget any other crap accolades that have popped up since.
It comes down to one thing..... how relevant was that opponent when you beat him..... now we can compare era's.
The trick is learning the boxing landscape, so that you can successfully evaluate the opponents, moreso than the fighters themselves.
Continual back-n-forth debating titles/divisions is buffoonery.
