Eh, I wasn't in love with Pac/Margarito being for a world title but it is what it is. Can't really take much away from the lineal titles Pac won, plus the WBO from Cotto. Granted that the lineal 130lb was by beating JMM in their 2nd fight, where the media was split about the decision.

Shrug I could go on but the point being made is that these stats don't mean anything without context (yes, that includes Manny being 8 division champ).

One of the great anomalies on NSB-calling world titles meaningless then citing the number of title belts won when assessing the greatness of a fighter you like.

If titles are worthless, then they should be worthless all the time. FOR EXAMPLE, I see posters in this thread that have frequently praised GGG for "trying to unify all the belts" yet are now demeaning the titles Berto won.

It just seems very selective and random.

Is Berto a top fighter right now, no. Let's not demean his titles when we celebrate belts won in other cases.

Floyd is also 14-0 against reigning world champions (in the divison being fought in)
