Wladimir Klitschko, the champion we need

Wladimir didn't represent boxing... nobody cares about the heavyweight division
Manny and Floyd are who people idolize in boxing atm
People want to see Wladimirs head taken off in the ring, its just a shame a prime Mike wasn't about to do it
People are savages at heart
People thought Tyson was invincible in the ring,he looked it at one point.no emotion just pure hatred and destruction on his mind
Wladimir looks like he let a sloppy joe off in his shorts when a punch misses his face by 6 inches
Tyson is what every fighter wishes they could be,Wladimir is a normal big guy with no killer instinct and so much fear
Tyson admitted he was scared before entering the ring but as he walked closer he gained more confidence and when he entered he believed he was a god and nobody belonged in there with him
Wlad would openly admit it took thousands of dollars worth of dry cleaning to get the stains out of his boss shorts after he fought HayeLast edited by Stuntman Mike; 08-31-2015, 02:34 PM.Comment

People don't seem to care about the bore-fests Andre Ward and Floyd Mayweather put on display yet somehow they get tonnes of respect from some certain people?
I agree though entertainment is definitely a key factor to wanting to watch a fighter hence why so many people get behind certain fighters.
People should atleast be consistent about their opinion/view they have.Comment

They represent the same spirit. Their spirit fused and became Tysonmir. Just like Wlad and Vitali's spirit fused and became Vitalad, and when Goku and Vegeta fused to become Gogeta. All i read was an article about Tyson?
With regards to seeing lineage preserved, Wlad doesn't have true lineage anyway, so that point is kind of mute.
I think it's natural for people to want to see a new guy beat the old guy in order to maintain a true championship as opposed to see Wlad retire and spread out 5 belts or whatever amongst average fighters.
Also, then we will always wonder "what if". What if Wlad met an Anthony Joshua 3 years from now, say if he was undisputed champion? Just like we wonder now what would have happened if Wlad fought Lewis.
Said Wlad beat Lewis in 2004, despite Lewis being over the hill, we would have still had closure - A little bit like Lewis-Tyson.
Wlad never fought Lewis btwComment

Is that why he has KOed 53 out of his 64 wins and many of which he KOed he was the first one to do it...
You'd be the same person to defend Floyd for fighting the way he did against Manny but you'd criticize Manny for not attacking more, it takes two to tango and both men are to blame its a PPV you should atleast try to entertain (that I agree) but for the most part when Wlad fought Haye, Haye just got picked apart all that speed and agility count for such little yet people want to try and pick excuses atleast Wladimir fought him as soon as he could.
And this is exactly what I'm talking about, some people just have agendas set Wladimir is a well educated man, doesn't rub people around the wrong way and in general very well behaved a great ambassador for the sport but people would rather root for someone who has shamed the boxing on several counts... You can't deny your agenda just please be honest about it.Last edited by M Bison; 08-31-2015, 02:44 PM.Comment

Wlad isn't an ambassador for the sport because he didn't fight in the US for 7 years. Wlad's problem is he doesn't connect with mainstream white US fans. That has nothing to do with all the garbage you are spewing, it's because mainstream US audiences find him horribly boring, something they do not with Floyd or other non US Americans like Pac and GGG.No killer instinct?

lol.
Who do you think gets hated on most, Mayweather or Wladimir? Because I can tell you it's Mayweather by an absolute countrymile - And he's nowhere near as boring/dirty as Wlad is. Nowhere near!People don't seem to care about the bore-fests Andre Ward and Floyd Mayweather put on display yet somehow they get tonnes of respect from some certain people?

People should atleast be consistent about their opinion/view they have.
They both get plenty of respect within the boxing community, and both are perceived as the best of their eras. But Wlad is known as the more boring fighter (to hardcores) and rightly so because Klitschko can quite often make you want to scratch your eyes out. I.e. for every Pulev KO there's a Povetkin/Jennins performance.
Nobody really criticizes Ward these days because nobody cares about him. He faded into oblivion for his prime years, but had plenty of criticism after the Kessler fight. And then received unfair criticism for the Froch fight imo.
It's a key factor, entertainment. But of course there's also nationality involved. People are more attached to their own (naturally) and on these forums and most forums there are more American/british people as opposed to Russians.
I assume Wlad would be a lot less criticized on a Ukranian/German boxing forum than an American one. I don't know, but I would assume so.Comment

Hate to break it to you but boxing doesn't belong to any country just like any other sport, it doesn't belong to one country it is a global world wide sport and fortunately for Wladimir he had the Germans who are lovely civilized people who took the Klitschko brothers in and treated them like stars.Wlad isn't an ambassador for the sport because he didn't fight in the US for 7 years. Wlad's problem is he doesn't connect with mainstream white US fans. That has nothing to do with all the garbage you are spewing, it's because mainstream US audiences find him horribly boring, something they do not with Floyd or other non US Americans like Pac and GGG.
The US can only get behind people who are actually from that country because there is certainly no way would Floyd be a PPV star If he was white Russian or any other nationality, Floyds choice of racism and rant tirades against other professionals is what the boxing world has turned into, you want a soap opera or a gossiping show you don't want to witness a great champion who has been dominating for several years now.
I know Its hard for you to take that the Americans can't produce a good heavyweight but the petty bias of your agenda that you try to hide is seen right through as clear as day, I just wish you could be honest with yourself.Comment
