Yeah he likes to hear himself talk but I've always liked Atlas, especially the way he reacts to corruption, it makes for good television.

Teddy Atlas, speaking as he would to a fighter he was cornering, saw what he believed was an obvious hole in Santa Cruz's game and sought to inform his audience, as he's done for basically the last ten years on Friday Night Fights.

Would rather listen to Teddy Atlas provide a meaningful insight than hear HBO simply shill for their house fighter.

Teddy's excitable; fine. Still not grounds to **** on the man, or his boxing presentation.

it only takes like a split second to shake his right hand, and its not like it goes anywhere.

yea sometimes teddy can be annoying lol..
but i dont hate anything or anyone becaues of that. chill out!

Jab/left hook, moving to his left (away from the only hand ready to be thrown); just like Teddy noted in the fight plan.

Whether Mares has the tools to execute that plan is another story; that right hand thing is a tick for Santa Cruz now, just how Jermaine Taylor had his "bow and arrow" off of his double-jab/right hand.

A quality fight without a premium price and this is what you come up with? You're some boxing fan. As for PBC and ESPN, you were watching so mission accomplished

I strongly doubt that knowing him

As for Cruz shaking his right hand, has anyone paid attention to Joseito Lopez? What he does is more bizarre, after he throws a combination he'll bring his right hand down to his waist/ sometimes even behind his back. I've even seen him do that with both his arms, you'd think he made a 3.

Bow and arrow? Didn't he used to tap his head too?

It was thought to be but in my opinion it was a snooze fest and poor matchmaking.
