say what u will about floyd vs berto but the reality is this fight doesnt even happen if he doesnt have one fight left on his contract. I might be the only one but i think there is a good chance floyd dont fight again and if he does it wont be till 2017 at least but i think he truly feels this is it and just wants to get the contract done

No money in a Lara fight( more then Berto but the risk outweighs that). Which sucks that fight would be a masterpiece

I bet the ppv would do like 7 million.

Casual fans don't really understand weight classes anyways.
That is so true it's actually sad

What this fool doesn't realise is yes you can fight whoever the hell you want, but if you run your mouth claiming to be the best ever, you leave no stone unturned. That means fighting everybody that is a threat around your weight class and also challenging yourself to the higher weights just like your Duran's, Leonard's, hell even Jones Jnr did. You win, you can make claim to be TBE. You lose, you're still one of the greats.

For whatever reason Floyd is held to a higher standard than every other WW out there.

I never hear anybody calling for Manny to fight Golovkin lol!

Idiots subconsciously proclaim Floyd's superiority over their idol and they aren't even aware of it!

Yes, a minority of fans do want Floydie fighting practically any and everybody in boxing within 50 lbs of him. But even with that, no one I've heard has ever suggested he fight Wlad.

Ellerbee says this to play DEFECTORAMA... that fun and ridiculous game where some dolt (Ellerbee) tries to change people's minds (we fans) so we don't make 'unreasonable' demands (his opinion, IOW crapola) of the diva GOAT wannabee. When in reality, most fans would've preferred the guy to have not ducked many legit challenges... all in the hopes of keeping his precious 0 untouched. Prime Mosley, prime Pac, prime Oscar, Margarito (avoided completely by retiring), whined til he got his way with Maidana's gloves (normally a judgement only allowed by NSAC), etc etc.

And BTW, isn't it funny how Ellerbee is so close to wannabe?

                He's right.

Floyd has beaten everyone in front of him and now they are asking GGG to make him lose. Floyd could beat GGG and I assure you the next step is Ward at 168 or Kovalev. Haters gonna hate.

I agree but what you don't realize is even if Floyd beats Porter Thurman Khan Crawford Danny and Golovkin, haters still won't give him his just due. They will always hate him regardless.

Going overboard. People will be satisfied if he just fights all the names in his division. Thurman, Porter, Khan. And then the Danny Garcia's of the world. A few transients won't be satisfied til he fights GGG for whatever reason.

Here we go again with the victim woe is me tactics again, this is why people can't stand Floyd, he openly admit years ago he doesn't care who the fans want, it's not about legacy, he said he picks his own fighters and his own boss. And the goal is to self preserve himself, to fight guys at the right time, and he wouldn't even fight Canelo at 154' so come on man he wouldn't even fight klitschko, Tim Bradley would though, Floyd is not cut from that cloth I mean look how he fights, he doesn't he just holds runs, love taps and flinches to the decision.

It's weird how Floyd fans say Floyd has beaten everyone, yet if anyone questions the judging in floods fights they act like you are hating or insane, we are just supposed to accept it, yet they love saying so and so was robbed, and question decisions and watch slow mo, you just can't do that with Floyd, you are not allowed to question his wins, the first maidana fight he forced the man to change his gloves, and lost, yet gets the win, the second fight he ran and won unimpressed, heck the pac fight should have been a draw, Floyd couldn't do much and Floyd fans lived through Marquez ok of pac, even saying if Juan did that imagine what Floyd would do, well Floyd had one of his worst performances against pac, and it's why he didn't win the espy, people vote for that and they blame him for the fight, yet he is trying to brainwash and project the blame onto pac, it won't work because Floyd is the common denominator in all his boring fights.
