It was a great night of boxing, easily the best PBC event so far. Unless I'm forgetting something. Ceja/Ruiz was my favorite of the night, that was freaking awesome.

      Was a good fight

      Boxing needed it

It's been a terrible year for boxing

      Matchmaking is so important

Whoever is matchmaker for haymon is doing an awful job

Broner porter was always gonna be ugly fight

      Styles makes fights

That much money invested and they got amateurs doin the matchmaking

But lsc mares was a good fight

They'll definitely be a rematch next

It was a good fight. Some fun exchanges, some sloppy fighting and spoiling. Certainly not a 'classic' or 'FOTY' as iv'e seen some describe it.

Both guys came out of the blocks early, and it may have been a short night if either of these guys carried power. They went for it though, so fair play to them.

LSC looked comfortable when on the outside. I thought Mares would of got more work done than he did when getting on the inside. I had it about 8-4 to LSC.

They had a hot crowd for this one which added to the event. If PBC can keep offering these types of fights with that type of atmosphere then they will do well.

Let's not forget that PBC already has a Fight of the Year contender with Huck-Glowacki as well.

              Crowd makes a huge difference.

Especially when you are marketing to casuals like PBC are on network tv. Big atmosphere lets people know that the event means something and is worth watching

Got a bit repetitive and while there was damage being done (especially to Mares as his face was looking pretty rough at the end) there were no moments were someone is in real danger.

Solid fight between good fighters who both came to win, one was just able to figure out the other while the other could not change the tide back.

There were a lot of flailing exchanges filled with missed punches it had some excitement early but then got sort of dull

Also Huck/Glowacki and Ruiz/Ceja were both fights setup by sanctioning bodies as long as they allow them to do their matchmaking they should be fine look at their best fights they're all mandated fights not handpicked..coincidence.

both huck and glowacki are haymon fighters. sanctioning bodies had very little to do with either of those fights happening, because who listens to them?
