That was my first time seeing Mares fight. The fact that he was a three time world champ tells me how ridiculously easy it must be to win a title these days. And neither one of those fighters should ever be mentioned in the same sentence with the great Mexican legends they showed before the fight started.

Great fight. Non stop action all the way, just a shame neither of them had genuine knockout power. LsC really did well and changed my opinion of him. He's still too easy to hit and will struggle against big punchers, though.

Good fight, and a great card! Great night of boxing for PBC! I have no problem with the decision. The score was closer than 117-111, but it was not a draw. I hope we get Santa Cruz vs, Rigo and Mares vs. Gary Russell Jr. real soon!

This was not Mares at his best. Mares was the unquestioned best fighter at 118 and won a decent belt at featherweight. He had a lot of tough fights in a row though and they took their toll. He hasn't been the same since Gonzalez knocked him out.

I want to see LSC vs Selby, then LSC vs Cuellar. I think they'll keep him away from Russell, atleast for now anyways. Russell would pick Mares apart and stop him. Al's got FW on lock down, wish Lomo could sign with the PBC just so we could get the proper fights.

Just watched it because live i watched Mosley vs. Mayorga. Good fight, but nothing close to Mosley vs. Mayorga.

Neither deserved to win. I thought it was fucking crap and skipped to the end after round 9; couldn't take it anymore. Almost as scrappy to watch as Porter-Broner. Mosley-Mayorga II was a far better fight.
