Floyd Mayweather said Maidana punches like he has bricks in his hands.

I fought a light heavy weight once at my gym who fought very similar to Chino. It was ****ing overwhelming, I had no idea where the next shot would come from. Luckily, I'm a counter puncher and studied a lot of Marquez tapes, and I was able to step back, wait for him to lounge in, timed him precisely and dropped him out cold. HOWEVER, had I not stopped him, I honestly do not know how I was going to handle that for more rounds. My plan was to hit the body non stop and hope he would slow down.

When you watch that highlight you really start to wonder where people got this notion that he's slow, he actually has good hand speed.

As menacing as Maidana looks, I'd like to get into the ring with him at my best and with utmost confidence. I wonder if I can take him on
