Almost despite itself, the show goes on for Shane Mosley and Ricardo Mayorga.

The pair of aged former champs square off in a sequel to their Sept. ’08 clash, with part two taking place Saturday evening at The Forum in Inglewood, California. The show will be distributed live through Integrated Media Pay-Per-View (Saturday, 10:00 p.m. ET, $49.95 SRP)

Back when they first met seven years ago, Mosley (47-9-1, 39KO) scored a literal last-second knockout, dropping and stopping Mayorga just before the final bell to end the 12th and final round. The win came some 10 months after what was believed to be the end of his days at the top level, when the former three-division champ fell just short versus then-unbeaten welterweight titlist Miguel Cotto.

How do you even make a prediction for this fight, when night guy has fought a relevant fighter in years?

None of us have any idea. Hopefully it doesn't turn out to be Jones-Hopkins II.

I hope Mayorga wins lol but it seems so unlikely. He couldn't do it when he was at a better moment in his career, how will he do it now after he's not only been inactive and out of shape but he is also way past it. He also smokes and doesn't live the life of an athlete.

Mosley has declined as well but he has kept himself in shape living a healthy lifestyle and has been more active.

Mayorga will swing for the fences in the first 3 rounds or so and then I see him gassing. I don't see much excitement in this fight past the first few rounds. Their age will kick in and show, it might be a holding type of fight with both fighters tired doing some vague work on the inside.

I hope it turns out to be wild and exciting, I'm counting on Mayorga landing some heavy bombs in the first few rounds and putting Mosley out early. I truly believe WEIGHT will be a factor, Mayorga will be heavy as ****. But it will turn on him if the fight goes past 4 rounds. Let's see how this goes, hopefully, it's a pleasant surprise. Mayorga can make it a show and at least keep it amusing.

Fight will be stopped when crazy @ss Mayorga starts masturbating in his corner in between rounds. Then he'll tell everyone he's really a good person and that its just to put on a show as they haul him off to a mental institution.
