I hope this is it for Mayweather. I'll bet against any fighter under 40 retiring for good, all day without any hesitation, coming back sooner or later doe & I'll come out ahead.
I feel like the most likely next move if there is a next move will be coming back in Sept 2016 (age 39) or May 2017 (age 40) & fighting Manny Pacquiao (37-38yrs) a second time. Assuming Pacquiao is around & doing on par with what he's been doing, which is a big assumption I know. Or fighting whoever ends up taking the throne at 147 in the hiatus, Thurman or Brook being the favorites right now probably.Comment

I take it Floyd and El F@g are still going along with the charade this is his last fight to sell one of the biggest duds in recent times, I know Klitschko gets his critics for selecting poor opposition at times with choosing relative unknowns from Germany and the continent along with some seriously terrible mandated opposition, Thompson 2, Leapai the impending Glazkov fight etc so forth. This one from Floyd after already having picked Chino a second time as well as exceptionally meaningless fights versus Ortiz and Guerrero in recent years is truly laughable, dude should be going after the next generation like Klitschko does defeating them before they go on to become a force after he retires, take Garcia, Brook and Thurman for instance.
I can't support Floyd in this fight at all, none of the above guys really mean anything to his legacy right now, but given a few years after retirement they could go on to become really credible wins. The Ortiz, Guerrero and Chino 2 fights will be immortalised as truly whack fights and add ridicule to what is and had been a truly illustrious career.Comment

Mayweather said quite clearly he is retiring forever. Most on here refuse to believe that and keep talking about who he should fight next after Berto as if he just said he was retiring for something to say. He is 38 years old and unbelievably rich so I believe he is retiring and he will never be in another fight. Most successful wealthy fighters don't come back after they retire. Lewis never came back. Hagler never came back and I doubt Mayweather will come back. If he was worried about breaking Marciano's record then he would just have another fight after Berto and announce his retirement.Comment
