Jamie McDonnell is not in love with boxing and fights purely for money, says the world champion's trainer and manager Dave Coldwell.
The 29-year-old defends the WBA bantamweight title for the third time on September 6 when he renews hostilities with Tomoki Kameda, who he beat via unanimous decision in Texas in May.
But ahead of McDonnell's clash in America, Coldwell said in an interview published on bleacherreport.com: "[McDonnell] is not in love with the sport. He's in love with the fact that he can fight and it makes him money.
