Amir Khan has by far more heart than Miguel Cotto so I say this will go the full 12 rounds it would be a close one but Khan wouldn't quit like Cotto did.

Someone said Khan had more heart than Cotto, maybe but, Khan's chin would have trouble with Tony's work rate. He would throw 100 punches a round. Watch the Paul Williams fight, no way Khan's chin hold up to either of those guys. They weren't Tyson power shots, but Khan can't handle it. Peterson did okay with Khan. Maidana isn't as good as he became, plus Khan was running away toward the end, if it was a 15 round fight Khan gets stopped.
The guy got destroyed by Prescott in 54 seconds. I don't even like Tony (esp since he got caught) but I respected him as a fighter, he always fought tough.

I don't think it would be an early blow out like people are saying, Margarito wasn't that type of explosive KO style and would eat some good combinations in the first few rounds with his non existent head movement.

But obviously as the fight wears on Khan would take serious accumulated damage especially to the body. Marg probably stops him in 8 or 9.

Yeah Khan would win his customary 4 rounds but he'd be battered and bleeding out his arse by the championship rounds.
