Shane's just a check hungry steroid using cheater and I'm pulling hard for El Matador to put an end to this cheater's career once and for all.

yea i thought about that afterwards.. but still seems like hes low on cash, meanwhile he came the closest to really hurting floyd and he just made 200 mil

He needs to share some of the blame for his financial condition. 50% of an estate worth millions is still an estate worth more than a million. He'd obviously have to downgrade his way of living, as it would essentially brutalise his passive income, but he should have enough to be comfortable.

I don't know how he's in the position he's in to be honest. Years down the line, if someone pointed to a broke Mayweather, I'd think ********, casinos, ***ellery. I suppose Shane is not in the limelight so the frivolous spending goes unnoticed.

Shane, I barely knew who the **** you are. What the **** you mean I wanna be like you? How I wanna be like you? Come on man. I'm the face of boxing. I'm the cash cow. I hold the record for pay-per-view. Me! For the highest gate, me!

You see him at one press conference got on a little green suit dressed like a leprechaun. I said, "Yo, my man, it's not St. Patrick's Day yet. I mean, you not Money Mayweather so why is you wearing money green? You're not getting the biggest paycheck. Your biggest payday is facing me. Without me, you're not getting ****. I made more money in my last two fights than you made in your whole career."

Like I said before, how the **** I wanna be like you Shane Mosley when everybody in the fight game wanna be like the uno. Kid got a jerry curl man. Come on man, it's 2010. The kid must've woke up in that hot tub time machine.

Shane Mosley says Floyd Mayweather fights for money. You ****in' dummy. I'm a prizefighters. That's what I'm supposed to fight for, a prize, duh!
Kinda funny how things turned out.

It's possible he's low. But it's also possible he's just trying to make the money while he still can. After all, he's a pro boxer. It's unlikely he'll be able to score this kinda money again after he hangs up the gloves.

I think his biggest mistake is letting Jin handle his finances. He probably wasn't even spending crazy, but when he's not monitoring his money, and instead someone else is, that usually doesn't end well for anyone. Trinidad got cleaned this same way and it wasn't even by his wife.

It seems like that reality is irking Shane more than anything.

ODLH, B-Hop, Manny, Floyd, Cotto and Canelo have all made fortunes in boxing and I'm guessing that Shane finds that difficult to stomach.

I will never understand why more boxers don't follow in the steps of Juan "Baby Bull" Diaz, by continuing their education while they're fighting. Unless you're in the unique position to make fortunes like those mentioned previously, you will need a fall-back career plan.

Shane should have invested his remaining disposable cash into getting a better education. Boxing for him is over and no amount of wishful thinking is going to ever change that.

An education in what though? We aren't talking about a college graduate. He's never been a school boy. So what exactly is he going to do? He's a celebrity to make matters worse. The best thing he can do is invest money into some type of income generating business. Where he's more like an angel investor. Or do what he's doing now, putting money into promoting fights independently.
