It's all about translating this confidence to the right people to make the fights happen, otherwise we'll just continue aimlessly arguing news articles and twitter beefs.

if cotto beats canelo i do think cotto will fight ggg. the thing is tho hes gonna want it at 157 or so even if it means dropping the belts and not to mention hes going to want a huge chunk of the money. im just afraid ggg team wont do it. i dont think cotto is scared of ggg thats just ridiculous hes just trying make much money as possible for his family before he retires but i do think ggg team will go in wanting more then they are worth and also wont be willing to do any kind of catch weight.

the thing is the way loughler was talking they dont even want a cotto fight even if he wins they still want canelo. it was almost odd the way they were setting it up as tho they have no plans to fight cotto

Huh, that's interesting. I will have to pay more attention to this as the time goes by. I guess I could see that due to Canelo being younger and fresher, and Cotto pretty much making it known he is seeking the best money fights, not necessariyl the best recognition fights out there.

Imo geale beats cotto at full 160. He would have his legs.

            Monroe beats cotto for sure.

GGG will flat out beat cotto up. No debate
            Full 160. No excuses

i dont think its cotto fear but i think its all about the business. cotto after leaving toprank. he has had the mayweather motto, "whats best for miguel cotto, miguel cotto will do". its a matter of risk and reward. Too much risk, cotto legacy already set.

How is saying Geale beats Cotto at 160 not an excuse for his loss?

Also no, I doubt it. EDIT: By it I meant Geale beating Cotto at 160. I also doubt Monroe beating Cotto. But yeah I think GGG beats Cotto, I'd have to see something terrific from him against Canelo to budge from that position at all.

Nothing special yet I bet Roach was wishing he was the one training GGG.
