Jacobs has nothing to worry about. When he fights Quillin, it will be at a catchweight so his 'title' will not be at stake. Weight classes are only a suggestion in PBC anyways. How many fights have they had where both fighters made weight?

Well you are probably right but you might think/hope that Quillen might like to have that title too.
Thing is, no-one knows if PBC will be a long term success. Judging by the quality of the fights so far* the whole thing might collapse in a couple of years with investors pulling out. If that happens it would be useful to have a title.
