Seems other people out there have different opinions of this fight. But, you know they only sold the tickets because they were priced at $5 dollars a piece doe, lol.

I bet they won't release the numbers. It is going to be so bad, they will try to sweep it under the rug. The Pac fight was it for him, that fight basically put an end to Mayweather. People only watched the other PPV's in hopes that it was all building to a Pac fight. What does a Berto fight build to, retirement? Pac should have been his last fight and Showtime will see why when they lose their ass on this fight.

I doubt they release the numbers either. I'm actively discouraging casuals from being ripped off and encouraging them to purchase Cotto/Canelo or GGG/LeMule.
$75.00 is a bad price point for a complete mismatch.

I think Mayweather/Berto will sell 800,000 to 900,000 PPVs. People who post on this message board will claim that these numbers prove that the fight was a failure. Those same people will come back in late October after GGG/Lemieux and late November after Cotto/Alvarez and try to convince everyone that 200,000 and 600,000 PPV's are great numbers.

Ellerbe is such a ******, when they usually talk about Floyd they just talk about numbers numbers and dollars and now suddenly he says stuff like that? Without numbers and dollars Floyd would have nothing. Thats all there is about Floyd, all his life, all he refers to, all that matters to him and all that describes him. There are no other layers, no other interesting facts or some kind of characteristics.

Do you understand the concept of a budget? They didn't even release the last maidana numbers which means they were worse than the first. No chance this does anything decent, relative to the budget.

I am sure all the haters will go ballistic over this comment. Just like Mayweather, I don't care!

I think I will save this one for if they ever release the numbers. No god dam way it does more than Cotto/Alvarez.

It's still funny to me that Berto's name isn't on the Mayweather/Berto Ticketmaster page.
