Team Pacquiao ducking Amir Khan? & Haymon cannot block fight

    1) When Khan was with Roach, Roach spoke to the media and said
''Manny is a legend in boxing and has had an incredible career, but Amir imposed himself more and more as time went on. Some days Manny got the better of Amir, some days Amir got the better of Manny. But Manny never dropped Amir. Amir dropped Manny 3 times in total, in all the spars we had between them in the gym.''

    2) Team Pacquiao then stopped Manny from sparring with Amir Khan, or training alongside him.

    3) Khan leaves Roach, and Roach starts to badmouth Amir Khan, saying that Khan was dropped numerous times in sparring, that Khan is boring etc....

    4) Khan and Arum hold talks for a potential bout, with both Team Khan and Top Rank's Bob Arum, giving the green light for the bout to take place in Vegas or Dubai. Arum say's that it is up to Pacquiao, for the fight to take place. (Khan has an advisory deal with Haymon, just like James Degale, Mayweather and Carl Frampton, in which Haymon has no power to block Khan, from signing any promotional deal, endorsements or fight contract, but instead advises Khan on who he should fight & how he can maximise his earnings (purses, endorsements etc), in return for a fee.

    5) Freddie Roach, who knows full well that a Pacquiao vs Khan matchup makes more money than a fight with Danny Garcia, it has a great storyline and sells well on PPV, on both sides of the atlantic (US & UK). However, Roach believes that a Pacquiao v Khan fight is boring, as they both have similar styles, an excuse...as pathetic as Khan spoke too much,,,so we will fight Berto.

I don't think Khan has done enough to be dodged by anyone. Pacquiao can fight whoever, basically the same as Mayweather, for all he's done at this point of his boxing career.

Can the Duck People call Pacquiao a ducker if he does or doesn't fight Khan next? Sure thats how the ducking game works, whoever you choose to fight next = you're ducking the other top 1 to 3 guys on the list who didn't get chosen. Its an unattainable mission to be the boxer who fights everyone & therefore can't be argued to have ducked someone at some point.

LOL the only clear open thing is Khan openly ducking Kell Brook an easy mega fight for a title to be made, but Khan has gone on record to avoid him.

The standard Haymon contract has been circulated online and it does give him power to block any fight that he wants to.

Is it possible that khan's contract is set up differently? I guess.

i have been disgusted by the way pacquiao has conducted these last few years of his career.

and this is coming from a guy who has defended him tirelessly on this site.

yeah but in Dubai? thats how I know the fight is nothing more than fodder, why would they fight in the middle east in a hugely pro ****** area.

Pacman wont even get a fair shake, the fight should be in England.
