Just have a look through Rigondeaux stats if you need any reassurance on his skills. Look at his connect rate and how often his opponents connect. Think his stats are better then Mayweathers. This guy is fighting in a division higher than his natural weight and the guys there are ducking him, give the man some credit. He's been dropped a few times and yeah he does have a bit of a chin issue but that doesn't have anything to do with skills.

Men lie, women lie, numbers don't.

475-12 amateur record plus a 15-0 professional record, unless W's are a meaningless stat?

That said...I don't think he's indestructible. He is chinny, he does get clocked in between exchanges. Sometimes his movement goes from blinding fast to a little static and he gets caught in odd positions. Vasyl Lomachenko would be big, big trouble, and I'd love to see that fight.

            But to call Rigondeaux overrated...

Once in a generation, look Ive come around to Rigondeaux but do you know how ridiculous that sounds?

Some of his technical skills are unparalleled with anyone today. He's one of the greatest amateur fighters in boxing history, the only fighter in that same bracket of amateur success this generation is Lomachenko himself.

There's lots of fighters with stellar Amateur careers that absolutely flopped in the Pros. They're two different sports to be honest.
