If Angulo didnt show the blueprint Would Canelo Have Defeated Lara?


Now I fully scored the fight as a Canelo victory and wasnt till the 4th round I beleieve Canelo started swing at Lara body as he pivoted out.

Now I was watching the epiologe of Canelo vs Lara and the corner was telling him hes losing he needs to hit the body when Lara on his way out.

As we know that how angulo was able to get Lara in his bout, I honestly think Canelo would have lost this bout if Angulo didnt show that gameplan cause the only other way to beat lara is by hard pressure which is not in Canelo artillery.

I don't put much importance on blueprints. Each fighter has to do things on his own with his style and his abilities. Canelo is a much better fighter than Angulo as he showed when he slaughtered Angulo. There is nothing Angulo could teach Canelo and he was KOed by Lara. Canelo fought Lara the way he always fights. He came at Lara hard, throwing fast hard punches. He didn't learn that from Angulo. Lara fought a more defensive fight against Canelo than he did against Angulo. The fight was close and some think Lara beat Canelo but I thought Canelo won because he did the chasing and landed the harder blows. They each landed about the same number of punches. The short answer is no, the Angulo vs Lara fight had nothing to do with Canelo's win over Lara.

By this logic Molina showed Angulo the blueprint and the blueprint Canelo used was originally from Molina.

Canelo and Angulo fight nothing alike. Like you said Canelo isn't a pressure fighter and didn't put a ton of pressure on Lara as it was, it's just that Lara is a counter puncher and he would not lead, at all, which put Canelo in the role of the agressor.

Angulo didn't even show any blue print. He just cuts off the ring pretty good and got lucky with two big hooks that floored Lara. He got schooled before and after the knockdowns. Canelo didn't really beat Lara, Lara lost the fight for running too much. I can see a 7-5 for Lara no problem. Im just saying, he was suppose to break Canelo face and then When it came down to fight, he was running. Smh
