I wanted Loma-Walters, but if he was considering moving up if not for Loma then he was already thinking about possibly draining himself for the sake of one fight so this may very well be the better choice for his career. Walters-Gamboa is interesting tho.

Walters vs Loma could still happen. Idk why people act like if it doesn't happen now, it'll never happen. It's not like they're at the ends of their careers. Loma will move up sooner or later, especially since he doesn't have anyone left at 126. Walters said he was coming back down like a month ago, but it looks like he changed his mind.

Gamboa said he will not go back down to 126, so the Russell/Gamboa fight won't happen unless Russell moves up. I doubt Russell wants to move up anytime soon.
