True, I understand that but Oscar act like he is the one fighting. Not talking about the Press Conference talking about the Interviews after the Press Conferences. I seen him more than Canelo during the post conference interviews

You're acting like he just jumps in front of the camera and tells them "interview me, interview me!" No dude, they ask him if he can be interviewed. Blame whoever is putting up the videos/interviewing.

You don't see the difference from a Rapper who just invested in Boxing and knows nothing about the sport and a hall of fame Boxer who has been involved in boxing his entire life and actually runs the company. His frigging image is the logo for Golden Boy. He should be front and center while Jay-Z should just be sitting in the seats like a fan. If it were a Hip Hop concert Roc Nation was promoting then I'm sure Jay-Z would be front and center since that is his venue just like Boxing is Oscar's venue

Oscar De La Hoya IS a figurehead, in about as much the case is for Jay-Z if folks are honest about it; Richard Schaefer ran the company for nearly a decade without Oscar really doing anything.

Oscar is trying to run his company now, but to sell Oscar's contributions as more than that is a bit much.

1. Oscar is not out front anymore then ANY of the other major promoters like Bob arum, Kathy duva, Dibella, ect.

2. It's his job to do that to sell the fight

3. The reason you see him in more pics and he is quoted more is not because he is in more places or talking more but because unlike the other guys he is not just a promoter he is a celebrity and a promoter.

Perfect example I watched the actual press conference on ESPN and the no named guy jay-z hired to run his promotions was on stage and available for questions just as much as Oscar. But you barely see the guy in photos and Oscar is everywhere in photos. That's because these media outlets choose to run pics with the guy who is a hall of fame fighter, a celebrity, and boxing icon. Oscar was the most famous fighter of his era. If you run a boxing website do you think pics of him or no named guy from roc nation generates as many clicks? If you run a website what gets more clicks a quote to lead your article from Oscar or no named dude from Roc Nation? If you upset he gets more exposure be upset with the media and fans because everyone wants to see and read about him more then the other guys.
