I think Cleverly is at the point now where he just wants the big fights. He isn't building towards being a champion now.

Fonfara is decent but he isn't a monster to be scared of.
That being said i see a late stoppage for fonfara.

A Chicago-based, Polish fighter, fighting in Chicago isn't supposed to draw a crowd? lol

Very Solid Fight! Yeah I agree with some of the other comments, WTF is Cleverly thinking? I think Fonfara stops Cleverly

Good fight. Be interesting to see how Cleverly does. He went from fighting lowly ranked LHW's and winning easily to fighting the best in the division, and top 10 P4P as it turned out, and was subsequently written off. Cruiserweight move was obviously dumb from the start

That's a fair point, I guess. Still don't see this as being any sort of "success" as far as television goes. It's a meh, okay kind of fight. Fine as the opener on a card of three fights, like back in the 2013 Showtime days. As a main event it sucks.

Props to Cleverly for taking the fight.

And another chance for Fonfara to continue his good momentum.

Hmm Fonfara is very good, might be a bit too much for Cleverly, but good fight and props to Cleverly for taking the fight in Chicago.

Can't see Cleverly getting stopped late. He has a good engine at light heavyweight and is considerably bigger than Chavez so won't be getting bullied around in a similar fashion.

He's also vaguely mobile, unlike Chavez who has made a career out of walking through smaller men - not so effective against light heavyweights.
