If he can't take the heat from his own hypocrisy biting him in the @ss then maybe he should just retire now. I mean he won't even meet GGG at a catchweight, not even the full middleweight limit. How can you call yourself TBE when you won't move up and fight outside your natural weight. Duran did it and he was a lightweight. Pacquiao did it and he was a natural lightweight. If your going to not take risks outside of your weight class then at least fight the best guys in that weight class, I mean come on. Khan controls distance like Floyd. Floyd has never been a pressure fighter. Floyd is tailor made for Khan's high work rate and rapid fire jab.
OK, the bold is a fair call.

But the real point is, Khan would not beat Mayweather.

Khan is not the best welterweight contender, and he has done nothing to earn that fight. Go watch Khan/Algieri then tell me Khan has a chance.

Algieri fought a come forward brawling type of fight, trying to land a hard blow the entire time but never really had Khan in real trouble. Floyd is 38 years old and hasn't fought a come forward, aggressive type of fight in years if he ever really has. Khan has a suspect chin and it has it's vulnerabilities but very few boxers have been able to capitalize on that. The story of the fight between Floyd and Khan is who can control the pace and distance. I think Khan has the faster reflexes both in his hand and legs, and would have much more energy too in the duration of the fight. Khan if you let him do his thing is a very overwhelming offensive fighter. I think Floyd has a better chance of beating Khan now than when he was with Roach because Virgil has made him a defensive first cautious type of fighter. Khan's advantage in the past was to overwhelm you with rapid combinations. He would then build on his success becoming more aggressive where the opponents would have no answers and are just getting clobbered. But Floyd know's how to beat Khan now or at least mess up his approach because of the Algieri fight. I guess either Floyd didn't want to fight that much of an aggressive fight or thought Khan would be to much of a risk.

Khan should have easily handled Algieri, if he wants to talk about Floyd.

Whatever style Algieri chose, Mayweather has it and much more.

I dont agree that Algieri found the Khan blueprint.

The fact that we are discussing Algieri does not reflect well on Khan.

Floyd and Pac nullified each other's strongest assets which made for a dull fight but it was definitely close contested. Hell the fight came down positioning and spacing for Christ's sake!

If you don't believe the fight was close go back and listen to Sr. in between rounds!
Something I can believe that a Floyd fan just said.. Props to you! You're a real boxing fan. Cheers!

One of FMJs strongest assets is a lead right, when did Manny nullify it, unless you count with his face.
