If someone saw that fight and thinks only the 10th round was amazing...they need not only their head examined but also their eyes examined. The entire fight was epic. Like Deigo said..." Fighting like we were fighting somone was bound to get hurt".

Like Gatti Ward...The 9th round was crazy amazing! But the entire fight was great.

Still think he was fortunate to win this fight. He kept getting extra time by spitting out his mouth piece, surprised they let him get away with it twice.

What does that have to do with Corrales vs Castillo? one of the best fights of the last decade?

very true and a fact that gets over looked drastically because the fight was so entertaining and exciting and the end was out of a movie.

Part of me feels castillo was robbed of a great victory earned, had Castillo fought fair and played by the rules (keeping the mouth guard in) he would have recovered and would have been savagely stopped.

However was a great fight some time ago, both had great hearts and a warriors mentality in spades.

Fun Fact: Slyvestore Stallone tried to say Sergio Mora vs Peter Manfredo jr was FOTY over this bout lol.

Both fighters were taking punishment badly. I saw two times that Corrales brought his mouth piece out during the fight then back in. I think he had a bad piece. What ever the case he did spit it out twice. The first time really wasnt an issue. He was fighting back and landing. After he got dropped he didi it again. Im not sure it had that much of a outcome on the fight. Castillio was still landing big. The ref IMO made a big difference. Castillio was hurt bad with that last shot.

Still great ass fight. Neither fighter loss IMO!

The whole fight was incredible, but round 10 may be the best round I've ever seen.

In reality, that fight ended his career as a top guy. I've always said his management were ****ing bozos for rematching him with Castillo again so soon. He had come off fights with Casamayor(twice), Freitas, and then this epic war with Castillo. Give the kid a ****ing breather for ****s sake. His team should of put him on a bum of the month club diet for 2 or 3 fights and let him recuperate. The rematch was needed, but it should'nt of been done back to back after the absolute war that it was.
