He's right. The city makes a killing. Think about, what's the night life like in Arlington compared to the Vegas strip after these events? If there was a state of the art football stadium Vegas would do a killing in all major sports.

Its not hard to see whats going on here, with limited seating that will mostly cater to the wealthy itll drive PPV sales up. I wonder where they got that idea ? I expect this event to do decent #s, 1.8-2.0 mil range

MGM only holds 16,000. Both are extremely small sporting arenas compared to what professional Football, Baseball, Basketball arenas today hold. But these fights happen in small venues in Vegas for a reason and not these other world class arenas that hold thousands and tens of thousands more seats. It's because the Casino's pay out the nose for them and they attract the celebs and high rollers who want to come to Vegas. Every major city has arenas that hold more then 12k or 16K seats. But high rollers want to go to Vegas not those other cities. The Casino's, night life, entertainment ect is unmatched and it's all part of the draw for these big fights. Everyday Joe's get their seat to the fight...it's called pay per view.
