This fight is a disaster. Going head to head with Haymon and it's a Pay Per View for 2 washed up fighters. And you got Don King in the middle. I won't be surprised if Mayorga just backs out last minute regardless. Mosley flushed a lot of money down the toilet trying to promote this fight.

Because you have a amateur promoter who is punch drunk and don't know what the hell is going on. No sane promoter would do what Mosley is doing because they would lose a ton of money.

and that mares vs santa cruz fight is two elite 126 fighters going at it for a diamond belt (btw do u know how that works since russell is the champ?) for free on espn, didn't shane announce his fight first and then the pbc fight was scheduled for the 29th?

This pretty much. I think he said he needed 40k buys to break even. He'll be lucky if he does 40. Not good to see.

What's the point of contracts if the court won't honor them? Seems Don King paid 400k for Mayorga's exclusivity.

theres no way this does more that 20k buys.. Doesn't make sense financially to have the fight.. I'm thinking of buying it just cause I love boxing and im pretty sure it will still be a decent scrap but I think the Mares Santa Cruz fight is going to be better.. either way one of these is gonna end up getting DVR'd
