He fought an old Oscar (who won btw), old Mosley (who if younger would've finished him), Cotto (who had already lost to Margarito and Pac), and a shot one armed Pac (who had gotten KTFO by Marquez).

GTFO, he blatantly ducked Margarito, he blatantly ducked the entire 147 division when it was red hot when he "retired" and ducked Pac circa 2008-2010.

this is a boxing forum not TMZ, last I checked Pac cheated on his wife, has illegitimate children, had a drinking and ******** problem, and uses GOD name like its a game

I want to say that as a fan I think there's always going to be hate for people who have ruined the sport.. mayweather primarily.. followed by Manny, Bob, Haymon.. and the networks.. Long gone the day where best vs best were the match ups.. now it's "best" vs "best option as far as fan base, money, and risk"..

Mayweather vs Baldomir is just as bad as Mayweather vs Berto... but his fans eat it up like it's the best fight out there..

we haven't had this much free boxing on TV since I was a kid in the late 80s, early 90s and some are actually major title fights...free TV

fighters are actually making bigger purses and can support their families without fighting 100+ fights like back in the day


then there is more drug testing to make the playing field fair

No generation in boxing got to see every fight they wanted made, be made so this is nothing knew

I do agree with you that some of the matches have been crappy, but when you start a brand you have to market it, and groom guys for stardom....no different than how ODLH, Mosley, and Mayweather were fighting no names on free TV when they were young contenders.....look at the big picture...soon guys like Keith Thurman and even Chocolatito will be household names because of free boxing on TV....it just takes time to build the fighters up, all the big names fight on PPV
