Former champion and Premier Boxing Champions expert analyst, Antonio Tarver, says Andre Berto should come in with an all-out attack on Floyd Mayweather Jr. when they battle for the WBC/WBA welterweight titles on September 12th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Fans are not happen with the match, because Berto is viewed as a significant underdog in the contest. He's 3-3 in his last six bouts and the oddsmakers have Mayweather listed as a huge favorite - some of them have him at 80-1 to win.

Showtime Pay-Per-View will carry the four fight event.

this is exactly why i feel no fight for floyd is an easy fight unles he picked a guy much smaller than him

u have nothing to lose..he cant ko you..and even if he can he wont more than not..u're on the main stage and you're supposed to lose!!..if the he's not a power puncher his volume is low he doesnt mind u throwing flurries...i remember stephen a smith said "floyd is slipping look how chino roughed him up"...stephen didnt get that floyd will let u fight where u want to fight and beat you..but i agree with him that floyd allows u to be more aggressive than any other boxer that i have ever known..

this thing could get competitive and war like with floyd just proving he's willing to fight and still look better than you sorta like the chino fight

Anything Floyd does will get criticized by the casual fans. He cannot win no matter what. So just fight his fight, do not take unnecessary punishment, make Berto miss and counter with combinations.

Tarver is right. He needs to go in there with the Maidana mentality and have zero respect for Floyd. Forget trying to box with him and just go animalistic on him. Go for the KO with every punch or get KO'd trying.

Berto has the heart to fight a brawl, just not the chin or boxing ability. Maidana is a much better boxer than Berto could ever dream to be. Berto has some nice physical gifts. Maybe that will lead to a few nice punches landed. We can only hope.

Will it matter if Berto goes all out? Mayweather will run, grab, hold and pot shot all night long, as he always does. He will NOT stand and fight Berto, unless one of his pot shots hurts him.
