Comments Thread For: Roach: Cotto Will Knock Canelo Out, Bet On It!

Trainer Freddie Roach is very confident that Miguel Cotto will not only win, but wins by knockout in the late rounds when he defense his WBC middleweight title against Saul "Canelo" Alvarez on November 21st at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

Roach has trained Cotto for his last three fights, which were all won by knockout. There have been criticisms over the bouts due to catch-weights involved and other related issues.

I would not take Roach's advice, he has been predicting KO's for his fighters for half a decade now and they don't come true. He's been predicting Pacquiao KO's the past 5 years and he hasn't gotten one, instead Pac got KO'ed himself. I don't think Cotto gets knocked out, but if any one gets KO'ed in this fight it's gonna be Cotto.

I'd say I have more faith in Oscar's blueprint than I do in Roach's perfect strategy and KO predictions.

Dude can you really blame Pacquiao for Algieri's stubbornness? He just refused to stay down. I'm not sure what else Pacquiao could have done that night to stop him, but it's not like he didn't try.

If Freddie Roach trained Paulie Malignaggi, he would predict Malignaggi by KO.

Roach should be on Guiness book of world records for the most false KO predictions ever in history!
