  • Comments Thread For: Cunningham: Haymon Reassured Me, I’ll Be Back Late '15

Steve Cunningham didn’t lose to Antonio Tarver earlier this month, but he didn’t beat him either — not officially, at least, though Cunningham believes he deserved otherwise.

But no matter what Cunningham believes, the judges rendered the bout a draw. And that had the former cruiserweight titleholder concerned about his future at heavyweight and in the sport, at least until he and his wife heard from his adviser and de facto promoter, Al Haymon. Would like to see Huck rematch Glowacki. What about Cunningham vs Stiverne or Jennings, or Arreola? Maybe even on the same card.

Cunningham-Jennings would be awesome. Stiverne... eh, why not. I don't want to see Arreola ever again. EVER. AGAIN.

I like Steve and was moved by his story but he's just happy to see another check at this point even if he's being set up to be fed to someone they are building up. Get your money steve but man oh man don't only fight for that cuz.

                  Cunningham vs Szpilka???

Szpilka is going to fight one more time in 2015 and he's been mentioning Arreola or Cunningham as an opponent.

Yes, this. Cunningham doesn't have any punching power to save his life but he does have good stamina and workrate. Arreola is the complete opposite: low workrate, **** stamina but good punching power.
