Comments Thread For: Jermain Taylor Plans Boxing Return, Says Lawyer

Former champion Jermain Taylor (33-4-1, 20KOs) is planning to return to the ring again, at some point, according to his lawyer Hubert Alexander.

Taylor has been out of the ring since last October, when he captured the IBF world title from Sam Soliman. He was eventually stripped in connection to his mounting legal troubles.

The boxer has three pending legal cases and he's underdoing mental evaluation.

This story is going to end with someone dead. Either Taylor or someone else.

Isn't that lawyer's primary defense that his client should be released because he suffers from brain damage due to boxing?

Which ever promoter, athletic commission or sanctioning body let's Taylor fight again should be investigated.

Haymon's already lining him up for Zerafa after he beats Quillin.

Taylor was always kinda the nice guy in boxing - great skills, not too much shit-talk, yet always winding up getting knocked out in good fights. Now, though, he genuinely seems like a scary-ass dude. If I saw him anywhere roaming free, I'd run the fuck away even if he tried capping me in the back, naw'm sayin'. :scared1:

Wasn't he recommended to be in a mental institution? He really shouldn't box but we all know someone just needs to flash some $$$$.
