I absolutely agree. Big difference in opposition. Good thing martinez never faced giggi because he would have out boxed him easy

Martinez struggled with Macklin, Barker, Cintron, and Ggg wouldn't be ready for him? Please, Sergio would be lucky to see round 7

Dude you voted for Ward over Ggg via stoppage. That pretty much disqualifies you from the discussion.

The bigger, faster Andre Dirrell couldnt outbox Ggg over 3 rounds with headgear and big gloves, and cyclist turned boxer Sergio does with ease, sure thing.

So what if there is a difference in opposition, what does that mean? There was a big difference in opponents between Donaire and Rigondeaux who's best win was Rico Ramos but that didn't stop Rigondeaux from beating Donaire now did it? Need to have a better explanation other than "he fought the better opponents".

Golovkin would stop any version of Maravilla. I don't think this fight would've been as competitive as people think.

This is how I'd see the fight going.

First third shaky but with Martinez in pot-shotting and in control, then GGG shakes things up in the middle rounds and puts Martinez on the canvas, then Martinez kicks it up to high gear and shows GGG game he's never seen before.

              Martinez UD.

Has GGG fought anyone with the same experience? Nope.
Has GGG fought anyone as fast as Martinez? Nope.
Has GGG fought anyone with the same power? Nope (but Lemieux will definitely answer that question)

Regardless of the excuses you make for these events happening to Martinez, these things would never happen to GGG. GGG would knock out Williams, Cintron and Margarito without any problems in my opinion. I think GGG would also knock Martinez out. GGG has never lost a fight or been in a close fight or been hurt in a fight. He has a better record than Martinez and he is a better fighter. I can't think of any fighter Martinez beat that GGG would not beat quicker and easier. The version of Pavlic that Martinez beat was not Pavlic at his best. They have a common opponent in Murray and look at the difference in the results.
Did you actually see the cintron fight? He basically knocked him out, beat him up then got robbed on the cards.

Experience is funny coming from a Sergio fan. Based on experience he'd have no chance vs PWill and Pavlik. Even Cintron who he ran against after the shoulda been KO.

Those guys + Macklin, Barker all dealt with that combo of speed + power alright, for a good while At least. Excluding PWill 2 of course, but he wasn't really a middle. Imagine PW vs Ggg, that'd be disgusting and wouldn't take 2 tries
