If the fight continued on, he may have done enough to earn the split decision, it couldn't have been a 2 round fight.

But yes it is odd, usually if a fighter gets up then goes back down before the count is over the ref stops it. I've honestly never seen the fight continue like that but since he never finished the count in the first place I don't see why the count would have started over. The ref didn't even know what to do in that situation.

That's also weird, if the sanctioning body can't analyze the fight they should just rule it a no contest. Who knows what other su****ious **** went down.
