In a fight for a vacant title the purse should be split 50/50. In an ideal world. Even in this crap world, though, why should one fighter be offered the **** end of the money, as in take it or leave it, and have the so-called sanctioning body let the promoter get away with it. Soro sees it that way too, which is fair enough but at the same time a missed opportunity because a title leads to proper money and he'd have been a strong favourite to beat Smith imo.

I saw Thompson fight Adams on Channel 4's KOTV & he looks okay, but I can't take this fight serious as a world title contest!
