The ordered rematch between WBA 'regular' heavyweight champion Ruslan Chagaev (34-2-1, 21KOs) and challenger Fres Oquendo (37-8, 24KOs) has a tentative date of October 17th in Germany, according to El Nuevo Dia.

The boxers first met last July in Russia, with Chagaev winning a very close twelve round majority decision.

I would rather watch Wilder's next fight ten times a day than watch this ****e again.

The fact that Chagaev is being ordered to rematch a 42-year-old who hasn't beaten anyone with a pulse in close to a decade is another example of how meaningless these alphabet belts are. Chagaev is in danger of becoming the next Braehmer, IMO

Poor Fres, I hope he gets his shot and wins, he has worked so hard over the years. Look at his record, and the poor dude gets stiffed like that. Oh well.

This was a terrible terrible fight the first time, I can't imagine Chagaev could turn up in worst condition than previously. Hopefully he takes this guy out and he can get on towards Browne and hopefully Ortiz.

            He deserved all his losses.

He goes into survival mode every fight and then cries about losing decisions.

If he wants to win, he should find the courage to go on the offensive in the second half of his fights. But he always freezes up.
