Khan played himself, this has nothing to do with Haymon.

Did Haymon tell him not to fight Devon Alexander (at that time 147 champ) in December 2013, only to fight him a year later without the Belt?

Did Haymon tell him to have a tough fight with Chris Algieri instead of giving it to him?

Did Haymon tell him to turn down a match-up with 147 champ Kell Brook in the UK?

Not sure if you're being sarcastic, but the answer to all of those things is most likely a resounding YES.

... As does Shawn Porter, (but the Porter's said they haven't heard from Thurman.)
Lamont Peterson is back in October (at 140 or 147.)

How I see it playing out.

-Keith Thurman vs. Amir Khan (probably same date as Cotto-Canelo on NBC Primetime.)
          -Shawn Porter vs. Chris Algieri
          -Danny Garcia vs. Robert Guerrero
-Lamont Peterson vs. Josesito Lopez (if he has healed by then)
-Devon Alexander vs. Aaron Martinez (seems official already)
-Kevin Bizier vs. Fredrick Lawson (official for IBF Eliminator)
Haymon moves different than most people, so I wouldn't jump off of Thurman-Porter so quickly (Thurman and Porter, from the appearance of things, are generally in the gym as is, so it's not like they're either going to need more than an 8-week camp to get ready to fight. Beyond that, Khan isn't going to get anywhere near anyone until he either gets Mayweather/Pacquiao or cashes in on that Wembley fight with Kell Brook).

Tricky part is fitting everything together:

          Thurman-Porter
          Garcia-Guerrero
          Alexander-Martinez
          Bizier-Lawson

Algieri-Lopez (Algieri still has the potential to be a drawing fighter out of the Northeast, both guys come to fight, and the fight would serve just fine as a co-feature/third fight to any of the coming NYC-based fight cards).

          ...

Khan-Peterson II (doubt that Arum ever actually tries to make the Pacquiao fight, USADA is involved from the moment the contracts get signed, both guys are just about welterweights now, and Khan would get a chance at a rematch of one of his defeats)

Porter might actually fight somebody decent, like Algieri or Peterson.

I agree with you, that is the most likely scenario.

But it should be thurman vs khan and garcia vs porter.

No khan vs porter cause brook beat porter already
No garcia vs khan cause we already seen it.

            that's why I say

            Thurman vs khan
            Garcia vs porter

            Winners meet in the spring.

khan could have done all that and still wouldn't have gotten the fight.it has nothing to do with earning a shot since berto was the one who got picked.

                What I'd like to see:

Thurman vs Porter or Khan (I'd prefer Maidana if he hadn't been out for so long)

Maidana vs Danny O'Connor (or a lesser name)

                Guerrero vs Garcia

                Spence vs Khan or Vazquez

                What I suspect we'll see:

Thurman vs Porter/Maidana/Khan (its time for another big fight for Keith)
Khan vs Josesito Lopez (I think Khan is gonna keep on keeping on in no f#cks given fights)
                Maidana vs random mfer
Guerrero vs Porter or random mfer (assuming Porter doesn't get Thurman)
Spence vs semi-notable guy (Bundu/Lopez/maybe if we're lucky Alexander)
Garcia vs Lopez or random mfer

Lmao at people thinking Khan will fight Thurman,he doesnt even want no Porter...
Garcia pretending to fight some legit opp in Shot Guerrero is more likely to occur
