Boxing is entertainment.

I've been a fan of Floyd since 96, at that time however my fave fighter was definitely Roy Jones Jr, but I miss the days of Floyd at the younger weights. He was a beast then. I don't judge on his "boringness" because he wasn't always a boring fighter imo. At the lower weights he walked fools down and threw combos with power, just because he moved up to a weight he walks at doesn't mean he's boring, he became smarter.

That's one thing I don't think people give him credit for, his ring intelligence is higher than probably any fighter I've ever watched.

It doesn't make sense to me, because as fans, we all understand that every boxer has ducked someone at some point, and fought soft comp at one point as well, you can literally dissect any boxer's resume, so why is this man different?

I applaud Floyd for having a "boring" style yet still able to be the most popular man in the sport of boxing where most fans want blood and guts. I don't judge any fighter that steps into the ring to do what they do.

I like a brawl just as much as any one else, but I appreciate a boxer who is intelligent enough to find a way to win, because when I boxed in the military that's how I fought. Anyone can get into a ring and get blasted out, but to be able to study your fighter and make calculated moves during a 12 round fight is beauty.

Granted there were other opponents I would have rather watched him fight for #49, but as a fan of his I don't complain.

Floyd may not have been undefeated in other era's, but to say he wouldn't have been **** in them is the furthest thing from the truth.

The difference also is, when compared to other guys like SRL and Duran. They seemed to want the fights whete u thought they were crazy for takin em. May won't challenge himself like that
