Adonis Stevenson: "If Haymon Tells Me Kovalev, No Problem"

The statement came right after he called Haymon with "Please, never tell me to fight Kov. I'd soil my ******man suit in the ring." (sobs and whimpers uncontollably)

Seven-Year-Old Friend of young Adonis - "Hey, Adonis - you wanna come out and play?"

Young Adonis - "I Gotta ask my Auntie Al. Let me just check."

Young Adonis - "Auntie Al said No"

Seven-year-old friend of Adonis - "Whatever, Man"

Seven-year-old friend of Adonis - "Hey, I heard that the ******ed quadriplegic down the block would love to play with you"

Young Adonis - "Hell yeah, I'd definitely be up for that"

Seven-year-old friend of Adonis - "What if Auntie Al says no?"

          Young Adonis - "Auntie who?"

          The End.

What is Haymon doing with all those "fighters". Castrating them? Injecting female hormones?

Too bad the fight game has been taken over by pu$y fighters like this pimp who is scared of a legit fight.
Isn't it funny that Haymon fighters are the biggest ducks?

Kovlev shouldn't have signed the extension at HBO if he wanted the fight. As of now no Haymon fighter gets any shine over there, but HBO is more than happy to take the big fights involving Haymon fighters and broadcast them.

It makes sense for Haymon to object. There is blame to go around here because Stevenson didn't have to go to Haymon, but I bet you it was the best move of his career.

Long story short, Team Kov had a chance to make the fight after the purse bid, and they didn't; Preferring to appease HBO. These are the consequences. Now Stevenson has fights with Chavez Jr, Fonfara and Beiterbev all as possibilities, and Kovlev is hoping Ward moves up asap.

Yvon Michel told him Kovalev in 2014, and he ran to sign with Haymon to get out of the bout.

Stevenson's word is not worth dust.

Problem for Stevenson is all he has is that counter left. His jab is crap and he slaps with his right hook. Not much of a body puncher either. Kovalev has power in both hands, a good jab and throws well to the body. I'd say Stevenson has a puncher's chance at best.
