Fight for money not points
Wilder gets an easy payday beating a weak Frenchie nobody. French are pastry fruits and all are weak. Never ever been a tough Frenchman ever. Joan of Arc maybe? French men are perfumed girly weak lads feminine in lace undies.

Ali, Tyson etc would fight 6-8 times a year..
Ali fought exclusively bum opponents and so did Tyson when he had that workrate.
As soon as Tyson started fighting professional opponents, his rate dropped.
Same is true of all top boxers today, early in career they all had Aliesque fight rates, look at Klitschko early career for example. But at top level it is impossible today to fight so often.

Be embarrassed when wilder gives povetkin a loss. Either by KO or take 90 percent of the rounds.

Why? Because not even Wilder himself knows he can hang with the elite. Povetkin, Klitschko, Fury and Joshua will body this guy.
He is the worst HW champ ever, and thats really sad.
The fight after Johann is povetkin and then all the nonsense will be put to rest. You think fury can "body" wilder. Wow, that won't happen but I can't wait to see those two fight.

I think they want to time the Povetkin fight for mid-January and try to make it in Las Vegas so it will have the same atmosphere as Wilder - Stiverne.
But yeah, Deontay is getting a lot of heat on Facebook about Duhaupas. This is probably the last time he fights a no-namer. Even for tune-ups, you have guys like Briggs and Tarver who the public recognize. Those would actually sell.

The point is to build him up. He's the first American HW champ in a long time. They want to build his fan base here in the US by making him defended against beatable competition. I have no problem with it. Now a year from now if he's still doing this then we can have a different discussion
