Slugfests like Corrales-Castillo and Gatti-Ward are obviously more entertaining than technical chess match type fights, but Mayweather, like Pernell Whitaker, did what they had to do to win. Keeping one's health intact is most important. If a pro fighter goes home with brain damage, the fans are not there to help you.

Nacho is 100% correct. Stop with the technician,tactical horse**** as an excuse for avoiding a fight. You can be that but you cant go around saying your the GOAT. Make the choice. you want to be a fighter or you want to " appear" to be a fighter,which Fraud did a long time ago. If you are going to be a runner, dancer and hugger and go for 12 round boring, sleep inducing decisions you cannot be considered on an all time great fighters list because it does not consider a fundamental element of an all time great which is overcoming fear. If you embrace fear and tailor your fight style around it you have never faced it. All the all time greats have faced it. Joe Louis, Ray Robinson, Marciano, Ali, Foreman, Duran, Hearn's, Benitez, Sugar Ray Leonard, Hagler, Holmes, Tyson, Trinidad, De La Hoya, Gatti, Julio Cesar Chavez, Holyfield all would be on the all time list before Fraud. Fraud takes a manufactured record and insists it means he is the GOAT but that very list shows he waited to face some fighters, avoided others, catch weights, and schedules that greatly benefitted him. These are not the movements of an all time great. They are the movements of a team which wishes to make money by manufacturing somebody as an all time great. Big difference and mainly in the size of the cajones. The names mentioned above fought everybody and anybody that was put in front of them. As a result, like true warriors they have some "L's" on their resumes. This does not make them less then Fraud it makes them more. Great champions, regardless of the circumstances " bring it" they don't negotiate away the threat. Talk all he wants but very few, history will show, will ever consider Fraud even top 15 let alone GOAT.Comment

I guess you're only allowed to watch boxing if the two opponents beat each other senseless. It's either blood and guts or go watch ice skating.

The post fight butthurt from all over from Pac losing has been classic. I think it has more to do with people not wanting to admit that the boogieman that they elected and have been pushing for years was just another walk in the park for Floyd. People involved with boxing from fighters, to fans to trainers are sore losers and cannot admit when they are wrong.
So I will sit back and continue to watch and smile at the sea of butthurt from afar.Comment

Thats how you know Floyd completely dominated his era.
No one can talk about his flaws as a boxer. No one can say they are as good or better then him.
Only thing they got left is... His style is boring. Well... Ok then.
Im as big a Nacho and JMM fan as there is. But damn, JMM cant even give Floyd a good workout. With that in mind, they should STFU about his style.Comment

It takes awhile for some to speak out on the fraudulent boringness of May Jr's style. Boxing should split , one side for TMT ballerina pink pantie gang and they ***** dance themselves into a frenzy !
